As a parent of an SGG 2013 graduate and a current SGG 5th grader, I would like the opportunity to serve in a capacity that helps sustain the growth of SGG, the development of our students, and the strengthening of faith and community formation.

I have over 20 years of nonprofit management experience working for organizations dedicated to the provision of social services such as affordable housing, homeless services, transportation, and nutrition. This experience includes budgetary oversight, fundraising including grant writing and special events, and program design, implementation, and evaluation, among other experiences.

Como madre de un graduado de SGG del 2013 y estudiante actual de 5º grado de SGG, me gustaría tener la oportunidad de servir en una capacidad que ayude a sostener el crecimientode SGG, el desarrollo de nuestros estudiantes y el fortalecimiento de la fe y la formación comunitaria.

Tengo más de 20 años de experiencia en gestión de organizaciones sin fines de lucro trabajando para organizaciones dedicadas a la prestación de servicios sociales como vivienda asequible, servicios para personas sin hogar, transporte y nutrición. Esta experiencia incluye supervisión presupuestaria, recaudación de fondos, incluida la redacción de subvenciones y eventos especiales y diseño, implementación y evaluación de programas, entre otras experiencias.

My name is Susana Enriquez and I will be serving as the PTO President this year. I was born and raised in South Los Angeles and moved to Whittier in 2013. After months of looking for a home and being pregnant with twin boys, we landed next door to Mrs. Garcia who introduced me to this wonderful parish and community. My husband Javier and I have been married for almost 12 years and have twin boys Xavier and Yair, who are entering the 4th grade this school year. I attended Cal State LA and work as a full-time HR Manager. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family. This is my 5 year in PTO and I am excited for the opportunity to bring parents together!
Mi nombre es Susana Enríquez y seré la presidenta del PTO este año. Nací y crecí en el sur de Los Ángeles y me mudé a Whittier en 2013. Después de meses de buscar un hogar y estar embarazada degemelos, aterrizamos al lado de la Sra. García, quien me presentó esta maravillosa parroquia y comunidad. Mi esposo Javier y yo hemos estado casados por casi 12 años y tenemos dos hijos Xavier y Yair, quienes ingresan al 4to grado este año escolar. Asistí a Cal State LA y trabajo como gerente de recursos humanos a tiempo completo. En mi tiempo libre disfruto correr, hacer caminatas y pasar tiempo con mi familia. ¡Este es mi quinto año en el PTO y estoy emocionado por la oportunidad de unir a los padres!
